首先老師必須幫助學生確立這樣的觀點:英語是主課,不是豆芽課。在小學階段,不論是老師,學生,還是家長,可能都看重語文,數學的學習。在小學的英語教學中,老師主要是以游戲為主,關鍵是學校和教育部門對英語的評估不如語文數學那樣重視。所以學生普遍認為語文,數學很重要,英語是豆芽課,學英語就跟玩似的。到了中學,仍然主攻語數、理化,依然把英語當副科。一個學生親口跟我說:我一直都以為初中英語跟小學一樣,是豆芽課。我心痛不已。在入學之初,班主任和英語老師都應反復強調英語這一學科的重要性,讓學生引起重視,才能為以后認真學習作好心理準備。
其次要糾正的一個觀點是英語無用的觀點。我們的老一輩是喊著:“學好數理化,走遍天下都不怕”;“我是中國人,不必學外文”的口號完成學業的。時至二十一世紀,雖然中國已改革開放多年,學英語之風已吹遍大江南北,但在我們這樣的小地方,那些口號遺留下來的觀點仍然存在。學生們仍然死抱數理化,對英語極其忽略。因為他們認為自己將來用不上英語的,既進不了外企,又成不了CEO,就更別說出國了。所以英語在畢業之后是基本無用的。殊不知,正是這一觀點制約了他們的發展,如果他們學好了英語,其余各科也很優秀的話,他們是可以很好發展的,他們一定能走出小城,走向外面的大世界,實現他們更高的社會價值。所以老師應該講道理,擺事實讓學生明白學好英語的重要性。
很多初一新生按字母順序背單詞,有些老師也確實這么教的,比如自行車,bike,老師就領著學生念:B-I-K-E,bike。學生自然就學會了這樣背單詞,即使后來老師介紹了更科學的方法,學生卻難改已經養成的習慣,這種方法就一直用到初三,乃至更高的年級。
初一單詞量不算很多,本身課程比較輕松,有足夠的時間,還能應付。到了高年級,單詞量增加,課業加重。學生再也顧不上單詞了,即使花了很多時間,單詞還是記不住,這就影響了聽說,閱讀。成績下降,興趣降低,學習跟不上了,最終只好放棄學習英語。
老師應在學生開始學英語時就教學生科學背單詞的方法,避免學生走彎路。我在了解了馬承老師字母,音素,音標的三位一體教學法后,就教學生根據音標背單詞。當對字母,音標熟悉到一定程度,只要會說那個單詞,就基本上會拼寫這個單詞。看著生詞也能準確的讀出來,學生不必花大量時間在單詞上。
老師還可以利用學生小學語文課上學的拼音,把漢語拼音和字母,音標建立適當的聯系,有利于學生快速記住英語音標的讀法和寫法,能更快入門。
另外,有些學生一背單詞,就翻到書后面的單詞表,逐個記憶。其實這種單純記憶單詞是很容易遺忘的。我們老師應該引導學生多讀課文,在課文中背單詞。這樣記下來的單詞才能活用,也有利于培養學生的語感。
任何一個民族都有其獨特的文化和思維方式以及語言的構成方式。西方人的思維、習慣是有別于咱們中國人的,英語語言也是有別于漢語的。英語老師都明白這一點。但老師卻沒重視這種差異給學生學習帶來的困惑。沒有及時告訴學生這些差異,這就容易導致學生用中國人的思維方式去理解英語中的一些現象,而且百思不得其解。
我認為初一新生一入學就該明白這一點,學會接納認同其他民族的文化,了解他們的思維方式,樹立文化差異意識,避免用漢語套英語,用漢語的順序說英語句子,用中國人的習慣去衡量西方人,造成很多考試中的失誤和面對西方人時的尷尬。
因此,英語老師在教學中要注意文化的問題,在語言中教文化,在文化中教語言,使二者互相促進。文化的學習既是外語學習的目的,也是外語學習的手段。如果英語教學一旦提升到文化的高度,就會富有情趣。比如:西方人不喜歡“13”這個數字;在中國人眼里,紅色是喜慶的,而在西方人眼里則是危險的標志。比如東西方人對贊美的回答,比如中國人和英國人在閑聊方面的話題選擇等等都與文化有關。
很多學生進校時精力充沛,興趣濃厚,讀英語很賣力,日子一長,興趣沒了,聲音小了,到了二,三年級,就成默讀了。有老師抱怨:早讀課比晚自習還安靜!
習慣成自然。老師讓學生一開始就養成大聲閱讀的習慣,并隨時觀察,發現學生有讀不出的時候要想辦法。我曾在班上給學生講李陽老師拿著喇叭帶領一群人在長城上喊英語的故事,我也帶領學生在早上喊讀英語,經過幾次練習,也頗有成效。
同時我在課堂上也要求學生大聲說英語。一個有趣的活動是讓教室里相隔甚遠的兩個同學隨意問答,這也可以改變學生因害羞,害怕而不大聲說英語的狀況。
還有就是避免學文盲英語,有的小孩子讀書,嘴里喊得響亮,眼睛沒看到書上,即使知道怎么說,卻寫不出來,或者寫別字,這種學法是必須要糾正的。
小學老師總告訴孩子們,把這記在這里,把那記在那里。中學老師不會這樣告訴學生,這就要學生知道怎樣做筆記。而且英語知識點相對零散,課堂上很容易理解和記住,卻由于不是系統的,所以極容易遺忘,學生必須時時記筆記,經常復習。有些學生開始沒養成記筆記的習慣,后來明明知道那是該寫的東西,卻懶得動手??荚嚂r到處找別人的筆記來背,其效果當然不理想。
所以學英語之初,就要學生準備筆記本,要求他們作筆記,老師還可以不定期檢查,以督促學生記筆記。
在初學英語時,老師應指導學生怎么做筆記并形成習慣,比如:課文里的'短語,重要句子,就直接在短語,句子下劃線。一些詞,句的轉換,就直接把替代的詞句寫在該詞句旁邊,這樣可以在課堂上節約時間。而一些詞語辨析,重點句型及例句,大塊的語法,比如時態等就得寫在筆記本上,省得在書上見縫插針,復習時不好找。另外,學生應在筆記本上寫明單元,課題等,以方便查找。
學生要有一套自己的做筆記的符號,老師也可以介紹一些。比如:短語就劃直橫線,重點句型劃波浪線,重點介詞,連詞等就把該詞劃圈。這樣學生在讀課文時就可以重點注意這些有符號的詞句,在讀書的同時,也可以把這些知識點順便過一遍,比單獨復習省時省力多了。
我有一個學生,她的筆記本上每頁都在右邊留三分之一或四分之一的空白,每次大考小考復習相關單元時,老師補充的東西就記在這些空白處,真是聰明之至!

英語不僅是一個學科,更重要的是它是一門語言,是人們借以交流的工具,會聽,會說,會讀,會寫才算掌握了英語。因此老師首先要培養學生聽說讀寫的意識和技能,讓學生意識到光靠做題是學不好英語的。通過做題可以得高分,但最終將影響英語能力的提高。
課堂上,老師首先教會學生基本的課堂用語,問候語。課后老師可以主動用簡單的英語和學生打招呼。老師把目標語言呈現后要少講解,多操練。操練的方式也是多種多樣的,可以兩人對話,可以小組對話,還可以實行男女生之間的對話。老師可以自己編一些簡單有趣的句子寫在黑板上,讓學生讀。也可以設置情景,讓學生編對話。這些活動不僅可以提高學生聽說讀寫的能力,也能提高學生學習興趣。
老師一開始教新生時就要避免學生“心譯”。初一課本上的單詞多半是實物和表示實際動作行為的詞,老師教單詞時最好出示實物或用簡筆畫,不用或少用漢字,并且應要求學生學記單詞時頭腦中出現實物本身的形狀,而不是漢字。這樣才有利于培養學生的英語思維。

其次我得意識到開會遲到的惡劣影響并盡快將其改正,畢竟因為自己的遲到導致領導同事們不得不花費更多的時間進行等待是得不償失的,這種因為個人問題導致集體利益受損的事情也是令人倍感慚愧的,即便是領導直接開會也會因為自己的中途加入而被打斷,可想而知自己這種不在乎集體利益的做法若是被人效仿將會造成多么嚴重的后果,所幸的是領導的批評讓自己和同事們都意識到開會遲到不會迎來好結果,而且需要接受的懲罰也能夠讓我深刻體會到開會遲到的錯誤之處。
最后我得改正自身的不足并確保不會再吃到,這次遲到狀況的出現在于自身對領導發布通知的不重視,在認清自身問題以后自然會從這方面著手從而改正自身的不足,畢竟在同樣的問題上吃虧只會顯得自己十分愚蠢自然要予以重視,而且職場競爭本就十分激烈又怎能因為遲到的狀況使得自己的職業生涯存在污點,總之我會對自己遲到的問題進行道歉并積極承擔相應的后果,至少在體會過遲到的滋味以后自然會在以后的工作中更加重視這類問題。
